What are you doing to stay balanced?
A few things I’m doing to keep my self balanced are having a daily practice of self care. This includes quieting my mind, deeply breathing, hot baths, walking to work (taking extra time to notice the beautiful blossoms and new buds) and getting into nature whenever possible. Social distancing is easy peasy in these environments and also brings you brings back to the present moment. #beherenow 🙂
Along with all of this, I’m also supporting my mind nutritionally. My go to supplements are Veeva stress and anxiety ( I switch between the two) and L-theanine. I use Veeva as a preventative to keep me balance and I love it because it’s a blend of adaptogenic herbs and amino acids, so it supports me from multiple directions. I find it helps mould and shape me into these challenging times.
For those moments where I need something fast and noticeable, I turn to L theanine, L-theanine is an amino acid that is known to help quiet 🤫 the mind. I often say it makes me a better person, and I swear it does. You know those times when you feel like you have a million things all happening in your brain at the same time? That’s when I use theanine. I also really enjoy it before bed at night, especially when I find my mind circling the same thoughts.
